Baker & McKenzie is one of the largest and leading international law firms in the globe. The firm is particularly singled out as having one of the most pre-eminent China practice and presence. With over 30 years' experience in advising on doing business in China, we bring an in-depth understanding of China's cultural, political, business and legal structure.
Our offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai offer a unique platform from which to provide legal services throughout Greater China, and more generally across Asia Pacific. The Hong Kong office is also the central hub for our Korean Practice.
As a full service practice, we advise on market leading transactions in all key practice areas and industry sectors and coordinate significant cross border assignments emanating from Hong Kong/China for market leading companies. Our client base is a who's who of global business, including representing a large proportion of the top FT100 companies, and leading local conglomerates.
A key strength of the firm is its ability to adapt and position itself as a "market mover" and "first-to-market" on the changing regulations and market dynamics. This is evidenced from the firm's leading position in specific areas like REITs, Employment, Intellectual Property and Tax.
